Toothpaste Lamp

A toothpaste… that gives light.

Designed by Alessandro Zambelli, it takes a completely mundane object and transforms it into an unexpected design piece. The tube looks squeezed – and instead of paste, light comes out. Literally.

Part of the Daily Glow collection, where everyday objects are given a second life, this piece mixes humour, pop art and functionality in a very unserious – but very well thought out – way.

It works as a table lamp, but also as a statement: proof that even the most mundane things can be interesting (if seen from another perspective).
